As we approach the busy stretch of the campaign season, it's time to roll up our sleeves and get busy. With only 47 days until ballots drop on October 15th, every conversation with a neighbor or friend, every piece of information shared about our Democratic candidates, and every hour spent volunteering can make a difference.
This is the time when races are won—not in the comfort of our homes, but out there in our communities. Even if you've never gone door to door, remember that this is where the magic happens. Be brave, step out of your comfort zone, and as Michelle Obama so powerfully put it, "Get out there and do something."
It was my honor to represent Salt Lake County at the Democratic National Convention and I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring back all the things I learned in Chicago. Here are some of my favorite photos.

Together, we can make a difference. You don’t want to wake up on November 6th wishing you had done more.
August Recap – It’s Time to DO SOMETHING
We’ve had an incredible month filled with dynamic events and inspiring moments. Our canvassing efforts have been in full swing, with volunteers hitting the streets and making meaningful connections with voters. The Stonewall Dems hosted the annual Dem Bones BBQ which was a standout event, where we celebrated Rep. Sahara Hayes, who was honored with a well-deserved award for her outstanding contributions.
Our presence was felt in the community with enthusiastic participation in the Midvale Harvest Days and Kearns Hometown Days parades, where we marched proudly, connecting with local residents and sharing our message.
Our Q3 Central Committee meeting was a productive gathering, where we reviewed our progress and strategized for the coming months. The DNC Convention was nothing short of historic and awesome, energizing us with its inspiring speeches and groundbreaking moments.
Additionally, we’ve supported countless candidate events, helping to boost visibility and enthusiasm for our Democratic leaders. Each event has been a testament to our commitment and passion for making a difference in our community. Thank you to everyone who has contributed and participated—your dedication is truly driving our success.

In closing...
As Democrats, we’re reclaiming what it means to be patriotic. True patriotism isn’t just about waving a flag; it’s about rolling up your sleeves and working to make our country a better place for everyone. If you love America, now is the time to get out there and make a difference. Whether it’s knocking on doors, making phone calls, or helping with voter registration, your efforts are how we build a stronger, more inclusive nation. Together, let’s show that being patriotic means standing up for our values and working tirelessly to elect leaders who will move our country forward. Let’s get to work!
