As the Salt Lake County Democratic Party's new Candidate Coordinator, I want to introduce you to our 2024 Salt Lake County Nominees starting with Katie Olson our candidate for Salt Lake County Council District 2!
Katie Olson has dedicated her career to the continuous improvement of government. With a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a master's degree in public administration, Katie is not afraid of getting into the details of data and processes to deliver results.
She currently works for the City of South Jordan as an internal consultant, partnering with each city department to evaluate their effectiveness and make decisions that best benefit the community. Katie's commitment is unwavering – decisions rooted in data, guided by logic, and always centered on compassion.
With a focus on "Striking the Balance", Katie aims to navigate the complexities of governance by finding fair solutions that benefit the entire community and honor taxpayer dollars. She believes in a government that values data, empathy, and experience, considers all perspectives, and works towards a balanced future.
We are excited to have Katie Olson as our Salt Lake County Council District 2 nominee. Katie's success is key to flipping the Salt Lake County Council blue for the first time in 16 years and as a former candidate, I know that she has what it takes to win.
