It's with a grateful and heavy heart that we announce the passing of our friend Robert Comstock. Robert epitomized the spirit of progressive activism, dedicating countless hours as a super volunteer and steadfast advocate for underrepresented communities. His progressive ideals drove his unwavering commitment to social justice, equality, and inclusivity. Robert's tireless efforts as a volunteer were felt across numerous campaigns and initiatives, where he always championed the rights and voices of marginalized groups. He fought for better services and support for the unhoused and homeless, ensuring that the most vulnerable were not forgotten. Robert's work extended into the realm of youth advocacy through his support of nonprofits, aiming to provide every young person with the opportunities and resources they deserved. A devoted public school teacher in the Jordan School District, Robert has shaped countless lives through education. His advocacy was not just about immediate relief but about systemic change, pushing for policies and practices that promoted fairness and equity for all. His dedication to public service is further exemplified by his candidacies for Utah Senate and State Party Chair, where he tirelessly worked to represent and uplift his community.
