"Senator Karen Mayne was the embodiment of dedicated public service, always standing up for Utah's working families and the west side community. Karen's friendship and legacy of compassion, resilience, and leadership will continue to inspire all who knew her. I was lucky to call her a friend and mentor and on behalf of the Salt Lake County Democratic Party, our hearts are with her family while we honor her memory.”
